Our beautiful pub and restaurant combines the cosy, rustic features of the countryside with delicious, contemporary food and drink. Our menus change seasonally to offer you the very best, fresh ingredients. And when it comes to refreshment, our fridges are fully stocked with plenty to choose from, including countryside ciders, cask ales, prosecco and carefully selected wines. This beautiful pub gets its name from the tranquil pond which it sits on. It started life as a tea room called Fisher’s Café, then later became the waterside pub and dining room we know and love today. Surrounded by gorgeous green belt land, it’s the perfect spot to relax and unwind. After a bite to eat with us, why not make a day of it and discover what’s beyond our walls, including the natural beauty that is Itchen Valley Country Park or the more exotic Marwell Zoo.
