Bingo In The Bar - Friday 20th March

Good evening everyone,

Please see below reminder of our next Bingo In The Bar, which is taking place tomorrow, plus our new house lager and free beer !!

Friday 20th March - Bingo In The Bar - as always, please aim to arrive around 7pm, and as before all money paid for the books will be paid out in prize money, so hoping to see as many of you as possible, to help make the evening a great success.

In addition, we now have a new beer on sale, which is our new house lager, called Heroes, and is 4%. This, along with IPA and our Guest Ale are part of our Loyalty scheme, which means, for every 6 pints you purchase, your 7th will be free !! When you order, you will be given a small loyalty card, which a member of bar staff will stamp each time you buy any of these pints. Once your card is full (so 6 stamps) you hand to the member of staff for a new card and a free pint.

As we have previously shared, the club is only able to continue to function if being used by as many of our members as possible. Current financial climate is very challenging and the only way we can survive and be there for all of you as members, is if we can see an increase in the number of members who use the club and its facilities. Without members using the club, we will have no club. Based on this, would be great to see as many of you as possible join us at some of these events.

Bingo At The Club Tonight

Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you are all having a good week. A quick reminder about a couple of events coming up at the club over the next few weeks.

Bingo In The Bar - Friday 10th October - our next bingo is tomorrow evening in the main bar. Feedback from members has been really positive. Same timings as before, so please aim to arrive around 7pm, and as before all money paid for the books will be paid out in prize money, so hoping to see as many of you as possible, to make the evening as much of a success as last time.

Karaoke with Lisa Gizzi - (Saturday 25th October) - come along and enjoy a night of fellow members/friends & family showcasing their singing skills (or not). No problem if you don’t fancy singing, but instead just want to come along, watch, listen and have a great fun night !!

Branch Karaoke For Remembrance Weekend - Friday 7th November - please join us for a fun night for everyone to showcase there singing talents, as a great way to start the official Remembrance weekend.

Remembrance Sunday 9th November - details to follow

Children’s Christmas Party - December - Father Christmas will be coming to see us once again. More details to follow.

New Years Eve Disco - 31th December - all booked, and details/ticket information will be shared in due course.

Bank Holiday Weekend At The Club

Good morning everyone,

With the long Bank Holiday weekend almost here, we wanted to remind everyone whats going on at the club this weekend. As previously mentioned, we hope as many of you as possible, will come along and support the club, attending one or even both of these events.

Friday 22nd August - Bingo from 7pm - start the weekend with a few games of cash bingo, which will initially be held in the bar, but we will review popularity and numbers, and obviously we have the ability to move into the main hall as required. We are doing this based on feedback and requests from numerous members, asking us to run more Bingo sessions, as always very popular. Please come along and join us, as the more people who attend the bigger the prize money. All money paid for bingo books on the night, will be paid out as prize money.

Sunday 24th August - BBQ in the garden, from 1pm. The weather looks good, so please come and join us on Sunday afternoon. Food is always excellent and very popular. Hopefully most of you will not have to be up for work on Monday morning, so you can stay that bit longer, maybe even buy a ticket to our weekly Open The Box game, which will take place at 3pm as normal, and current prize is £1300.00.

Upcoming Events At The Club - Including Bingo Is Back !!
Good afternoon everyone,

To help people with planning, we wanted to share some upcoming events we have planned in at the Club over the next few months. We hope this will enable as many of our members as possible, to pencil some of these dates into their diaries, and support the club by coming along and having a great evening.

As well as normal entertainment acts, we are also trialling the return of Bingo, once a month on a Friday night, starting on Friday 22nd August. Initially, this will be held in the bar, but we will review popularity and numbers, and obviously we have the ability to move into the main hall as required. Please come and join us on Saturday 28th June starting at 8pm, where we have “The Stiles” playing live for your entertainment. They are a 5 piece band and play music from multiple decades, covering 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and the noughties. We have booked this band based on recommendations and feedback from club members who have seen them and thought they were great !!

Both members and their guests are all welcome, for what is sure to be a great night. Tickets cost only £5.00, and are available from behind the bar. Please just ask whoever is working and they will be more than happy to help you with your tickets. We look for ward to seeing as many of you there as possible, on what is sure to be a great night !!
