ā¤ļø A little Red Lion kitchen updateā¦ š¦
As you may have seen recently, weāve been advertising for a new apprentice, and weāre also currently looking for a chef to join our kitchen team, as two of our chefs have decided itās time to move on to pastures new.
Weāve always believed in keeping our regulars and customers updated honestly, so we wanted to let you know where things are at.
The Red Lion kitchen, as you know it, started with Gav 14 years ago - and we want to reassure you that it will remain with Gav at the helm. Heās got Alfie by his side, who has now been part of the Red Lion family for 3 years, and together theyāll continue doing what they do best. ā¤ļø
There may, however, be a few changes while we get the kitchen team back up to full strength. This could mean some temporary changes to food service hours, availability, or the number of people weāre able to feed at one time.
The boys still need their days off (as much as weād probably happily keep them chained to the kitchen! š), so weāll need to make sure weāre looking after them while continuing to look after all of you.
We really appreciate your understanding and patience while we work through this. Our priority is to keep the food and service you know and love at the Red Lion, without asking our kitchen team to run themselves into the ground.
