I used to work in a busy salon environment for years and although Iโ€™m so grateful for that chapter of my life, I knew deep down I wanted something slower, calmer and more personal ๐ŸŒฟ

Now my days look a little different.

Creating Woodview Wellness has honestly been one of the best decisions Iโ€™ve made. I wanted to create a space where people could come and properly switch off for a while, whether thatโ€™s for beauty treatments, massage or simply a bit of time to breathe.

Itโ€™s still so strange looking around sometimes and realising this peaceful little space is actually mine ๐Ÿฅน๐Ÿค

Thank you so much to everyone supporting this new chapter already. The feedback over the last few weeks has meant more than you probably realise.

Iโ€™ve created a calm, one to one treatment space at home, and Iโ€™m now offering both my usual beauty treatments and new spa style treatments in a much more relaxed setting.

Itโ€™s quieter, more personal, and designed to give you proper time to switch off (no busy salon environment anymore ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿผ)

After 9 amazing years, NU Beauty Lounge has been such a huge part of my life. So many memories, so many wonderful clients, and a business Iโ€™ve put my heart and soul into.

Iโ€™ve always been really protective of the salon, itโ€™s my baby! But it really feels like the right time for a new chapter. And when something feels right, you just know.

The thought of handing the salon over was never going to be easy, but I couldnโ€™t think of a better person to take it on than Sophie. If I was ever going to pass it on to someone, it would be her. I know sheโ€™ll look after it, bring her own ideas to it, and keep it thriving.

The salon will soon be renamed and revamped, which is really exciting, and I canโ€™t wait to see what she does with it.

As for meโ€ฆ Iโ€™m not disappearing! Iโ€™ll be continuing to see my clients from my own private studio space from April, and this next chapter will also bring a slightly different focus around beauty, relaxation and wellnessโ€ฆ which Iโ€™m really excited to share more about soon.

Thank you to everyone who has supported NU Beauty Lounge over the years. Itโ€™s been such a special journey and Iโ€™m so grateful for every single one of you.

Nine years of NU Beauty this yearโ€ฆ which feels a little surreal to say out loud!

This little business has grown with me through so many stages of life and Iโ€™m so grateful to every single client who has trusted me, supported me and been part of that journey.

Over the past year especially, Iโ€™ve found myself reflecting a lot on where Iโ€™m heading next. Not just in business, but personally too. Growth has a funny way of nudging you in new directions, and sometimes the things youโ€™re passionate about start to evolve alongside you.

So while NU Beauty will always be a huge part of my life, Iโ€™ve been working on a few changes behind the scenes that feel much more aligned with the next chapter for me.

Still the same me, still the same love for what I doโ€ฆ just growing into something a little different.
