Summer Break for journeys!!
Hey beautiful people!!!
We hope that everyone is getting back to their lovely routine and we wish all the kids a good school year!!!
Journeys is having a little rest after our busiest summer ever!!!
We are currently soaking up some sunshine abroad but as usual if you have any enquiries please send us an email on info@journeysw**ebar.com.
We have already received a few enquiries about the Festive period (yes I can't say the C word yet🤣🤣)and i believe that I replied to everyone!!!
We would love to take the opportunity to thank everyone that visited us during the Summer (Well since May really) whether you are a regular guests of Journeys, a tourist, a local that wanted to visit us for a long time, we had the best Summer with you collecting your lovely feedback 😀.
We would love to say thank you to Sienna And Ruby for their incredible hard work during this crazy period, we hope you enjoyed your rest and we are missing you already!!!
Thank you to the The Coal Shed for the best food for our summer staff party we will be back!!!
Journeys will be back open on Tuesday 15th of September for our evening service.
Our Menu will change to our Autumn menunduring September so stay tuned loads of goodies are coming 😉

Good afternoon Journeys Gang!!!
We hope that you are all keeping well and are enjoying some much needed sunshine!!
As we launched our new spring menu a few weeks ago, we wanted to show a few dishes that have been super popular ;
As we are both a huge fan of Spring season and for that occasion, Amy has truly embraced the spirit of Spring and taken things up a notch, leaning into a more refined Menu with a delicate fine dining intuition and twist following our Modern european style and using the treasure of East Sussex region and I must say your feedback has been absolutely incredible!!
Our spring menu is a mix of brand new creations alongside a few returning favourites all celebrating the best of the season!!!
Our Devon Dressed crab has made a guest appearance as well as the Sussex Blue cheese mousse Gougère was too good to be taken off the menu and our Strong Lamb is wearing a new garnish !!
The Menu will be served up until mid June and Amy is already working on her next move so keep your eyes peeled!!
Here are a few dishes that are being served on our spring menu and have become your absolute fave!!!
Our crispy Pork Belly small plate, sherry vinegar caramel and Dijonaise, Local Chicken Terrine with a very bright tarragon mayo and journeys bread, Confit duck leg spring roll (our absolute banger favourite) served with homemade hoisin and smashed cucumber with ginger honey, Baked Monkfish with bacon and saffron what w**e sauce, Charred baby leeks, romesco and burnt leek oil with vegan feta and more and more to discover on our Spring Menu!!!
