FOLK AGAINST CANCER — A HUGE THANK YOU 💚

Following a recent cancer journey ourselves last year we wanted to do something positive and give a little something back to the charities and organisations that help support those affected by cancer.

So, with the help of our wonderful Folk in a Field connections and close suppliers, we put together Folk Against Cancer — a fundraising event completely separate from the festival itself, but made possible by many of the same amazing people behind the scenes. 🌿

And what a night it was…every penny donated went to charity as the costs for the event were paid for personally as to not have to touch the donations to cover costs.

We were happy to have raised £3,718.69 for charity! 🎉💚

The money will be divided between three brilliant charities:

🎗️ Little Lifts
🎗️ KeepingAbreast

A huge thank you to every single person who came along, bought a drink, bid in the auction, donated, helped out, supplied equipment, spread the word or simply supported us.

We genuinely couldn’t have done it without you.

It was so lovely to meet Jo and Dora at Folk in a Field 🌿🐾

They spent the weekend wandering the festival raising funds for Yarmouth Greyhound Homefinders, while also chatting to so many of you about giving greyhounds a second chance 💛

A huge well done to Dora for raising £67.02 — we hope she’s worked her magic on prospective owners✨

Thank you both for bringing such a special cause to the field 🐶🌿

We’ve collected a number of lost property items over the weekend and would love to reunite them with their owners 💛

If you think you’ve left something behind, please send us a message with a description of the item and we’ll check for you.

We’ll hold onto items for a limited time, so don’t leave it too long!

💚We are now home after a very long 3 weeks living on site. Huge thank you to everyone involved.
