We've got the Sunderland vs Brentford game in the EFL Cup tonight from 7:45pm... So if you want to enjoy it with a nice cold pint, we're the place to go.

All Sky Sports Plus games, red button included, are shown in the club, just in case anybody thinks we don't get them!

Quick checklist of things today:

Is the weather a bit naff? ✅️
Is the weather a bit naff in the club? ❌️
Can you escape the naff weather in the club with a nice cold drink? ✅️

Nice super Sunday today, plenty of football, Sunderland on Sky for those who aren't up for being blown half way up the Wear, and the pick of the 2 o'clock games throughout the bar!

Just to make everybody aware, the officials and committee application lists are now up on the main message board, along with the club balance sheet for the year for you all to have a wee ganders at!

Remember if you're applying for any position, you must be proposed and seconded by any two active club members, non-members cannot propose applicants.

We can confirm that the clubs AGM will take place on Wednesday the 4th of November at 8pm.

In what has been a very successful year for the club, we look forward to sitting down with everyone once again to run through the balance books with the club accountant and provide everyone with an update on all things club related.

Plenty on this week to enjoy! Starting tonight with your Tuesday night quiz and the pick of the Champions League action!

The club will be opening at 5pm again for Sunderland vs L**h Poznan, hopefully a bit less of a slog than the Torreense game this time, but breath will not be held! Then its a North East Super Sunday with both Sunderland and Newcastle live on Sky.

Music wise, for your live band on Friday night we've got The Zoinks joining us at 9pm, and your live singer on Saturday night which this week is Jenni Daniels. It's all happening!

17/10/2026

Last tickets for the Halloween kids disco have just been sold, there are no tickets on the door and we're under way at 1pm!

15/10/2026

Open from 5pm tonight for the Sunderland game, but a full weekend of football lies ahead as both North East teams are then on Sky on Saturday and Sunday.

No match advertised tonight after the Sunderland match as it'll go down to the sitting vote on which TVs have which games, with Bournemouth, Brighton and Celtic to pick from.

14/10/2026

Our loveable bunch of athletes are hosting a bouncy bingo night on Friday the 6th of November for anybody who's interested, although I suspect when the tequila rose comes out it'll end up being b**g eye bingo...

Tickets are available from the Football Club lads, so if you're wanting one, you can drop them a message on the page below!

For those of you who have asked about the Sunderland game on Thursday, we are indeed opening an hour earlier with it being a 5:45 kick off.

So if you're knocking off work and fancy a pint for the match, or if like some of us you've made sure you're going to be finished early, get yourselves along!

And for any of our members making the trip over to Leiria, safe travels!
