Please Help Us Stay Open
We have proudly run The New Inn, Dyserth for over 23 years. In that time, we’ve welcomed generations of families through our doors, celebrated life’s special moments with our community, and created a place where everyone is welcome.
Today, like so many hospitality businesses across the UK, we are facing unprecedented challenges. Rising costs, increasing taxes, and mounting pressures on the industry are making it harder than ever for independent pubs to survive.
The campaign, led by Tom Kerridge, is calling for hospitality VAT to be reduced from 20% to 10%, bringing the UK in line with many European countries. The campaign argues that this change would help protect jobs, support local businesses, and preserve the pubs, restaurants and cafés that are at the heart of our communities.
At The New Inn, we employ 30 full and part-time members of staff. These aren’t just employees – they’re part of our family. Many have been with us for years, helping us create the warm and welcoming atmosphere that our customers know and love.
We are asking for your support.
Please take a moment to sign the petition and share it with your family and friends. Every signature helps amplify the voice of independent hospitality businesses fighting to keep their doors open.
After 23 years of serving our wonderful community, we want to continue doing what we love for many years to come.
Please support The New Inn, Dyserth, and hospitality businesses across the UK by signing the petition today.
