WE’RE HIRING🍻🐄

We’re on the lookout for someone to join our small, friendly team. If you’re looking to earn some extra pennies, then you could be the newest member of The Cow Family.

We’re currently only looking for someone to work a weekend, most likely a Saturday night and to assist with covering the shifts of the existing staff.

This post will suit someone who is based in Durham full time, outgoing, flexible and, owing to licensing laws, over 18. Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training can be given to the right candidate.

Welcome to 2024 customers. After a devastating 4 years, Durham now has a new Bus Station. This new focal point to the city, and more importantly to Robinsons as a business, will now bring commuters, visitors and shoppers into the heart of Durham again.

It has been a long 4 years, filled with trucks, diesel fumes, queue after queue of confused students, disorientated travellers, the longest waiting time for buses ever known and a drop in consumers into this lovely city.

As a 20 year old business, we’ve seen a lot of changes to Durham, not all encouraging to local businesses especially. But, looking around the city, Landlords and Councillors seem to be listening to the word on the street. Encouraging new blood, innovation and interesting shops, experiences and enterprise. It might be an historic city, but it needs to encompass that with futuristic and new experience to encourage growth.

So here’s to a New Bus Station, a New City Hub and a new start to the reinvention of Durham City as a thriving, happening city. Also, call in for an apple, banana or a healthy quick bite on your way into town while you’re passing.😀👍

🐄🍻 It has been brought to our attention again that the opening times for the pub have been changed on Google. We are OPEN tomorrow, I will attach the opening times for the next few weeks😊. Seems like someone has a lot of spare time on their hands to keep doing this, please have some time off and enjoy your Christmas.🐄🍻
