PLEASE SHARE & SPREAD THE WORD 🚨 Potential Club Closure 🚨

A meeting was held last night in the club for members and regular attendees to discuss the financial position of the club and next steps. Sadly, it was made very clear that the club is on its knees financially.

Previous meetings have taken place surrounding this issue and now it has reached a point where we are looking and club closure within months if something doesn’t change now.

A couple of options were discussed such as membership fee increase, drink prices increased, and possible private investment from outside parties. But ultimately, it’s up to us. The club must start to be used, facilities used and functions attended when they’re on.

I know so many of us have used the club for celebrations, birthdays, engagements, christenings, wedding parties, and also to celebrate our loved ones lives for funerals. It’s held special memories for us all over years and generations, and it’s a place we can come together, part of our heritage. It would be devastating to lose that resource for our village. It’s a place of community for all of us.

Bearpark has already lost its community centre, the dog and gun… let’s not let the club be the 3rd hit to our village. If anyone has any suggestions further input a further meeting is to be scheduled in a month’s time. It’s crunch time at saving the club let’s not allow this to happen.
