We have chatted to the CIU about a couple of matters that we wish to bring to the attention of members. Firstly, Peter and Carole have swapped roles, and Carole is now bar manager, and Peter one of the bar staff. Secondly, in September, Martyn and Nigel are giving up the roles as secretary, treasurer, and so also being on the committee. Martyn has been given a double promotion at work which starts in September, so can't give the commitment needed for the club, and Nigel has been travelling a lot more with work, so also can't give the commitment needed. We will therefore shortly put a notice on the board in the club for secretary and treasurer nominations. We hope people will come forward soon, as it will give the opportunity to shadow in the roles. If these roles aren't filled, then the club will be given to the CIU for management, and they will decide on the club's future viability.

We have previously tried opening early on bank holidays but without too much support when opening at 11am. The Committee have discussed and we'll open next Monday early at 3.30pm. Hope you can join us!
