Coming up this weekend at the Stags...

Tomorrow (Friday 30th) sees our Halloween Partay!! 🥳🥳🥳

Expect spookyness, lively tunes, and we have a selection of cocktails available, as well as the usual Stag's party atmosphere! (it's also our Pepper's last shift 😭 so if you fancy popping in to say ta ra, please do!) We will be serving evening meals and bar snacks from 5.30pm.

Saturday we will be open all day, we're serving lunch from 1.00pm - 3.00pm and evening meals from 5.30pm - 8.00pm, but have limited space available to book a table, so get in touch if you'd like to reserve a table.

Sunday we are open 12 until 2.30 and then again from 5.00pm, and the evening brings around happy hour(s) again from 5.00pm until 7.00pm. The most reasonable of reasonable-est drinks prices in all the land (maybe? don't quote us on that, but they are pretty reasonable to be fair).

WE'RE HIRING!!

We are looking for friendly individuals to join our team, part-time Front of House and Kitchen positions available with immediate start if required.

FOH will consist of bar and restaurant service duties. The kitchen position is for a KP who will also be able to assist our chef with light kitchen duties. Full training will be given in all areas.

We pride ourselves in offering a high standard of customer service in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere, if you think this would suit you, we want to hear from you!

Despite the noticeable absence of the sparkly jacket this month 🤨 The Quiz Whisperer returns to the usual slot of 1st Thursday of the month in November for our monthly quiz night! (that's the 5th, btw)

We snuck it in quietly under the radar last weekend, but our winter menu is here and live! 😍😋

We've kept a few of our pub classic dishes, added a few Chef's specials, which will change on a regular basis, and increased the light bites and sharer options to allow for more of a customisable dining experience.

Whether it be for a romantic meal for 2, an evening out with friends, a family dinner, a special occasion, or a relaxed catch up with a bit of food and a few drinks with your favourite people, we're here!!

Our food is always freshly prepared & cooked to order in house by our own chef.

Booking in advance is always recommended, but we do accept walk-ins and will always try our best to accommodate you if you just pop in. We also offer takeaway options during food service hours, grab a b**r while you wait, eat pub quality food in the comfort of your own home, or accommodation if staying locally!

Food service hours are:

Evenings: Wednesday - Saturday 5.30pm - 8.15pm (last reservation 8.00pm)

Saturday Lunchtime 1.00pm - 3.00pm

Don't forget October's Quiz Night is this evening. Even The Quiz Whisperer needs a break sometimes!!

We do appear to have a table free though 🤔 4 people ideally, but we can go up to 6 if you don't mind a bit of a squeeze. £2 per person entry.

Anyone fancy a night out at the pub with possibly the best quiz master(s) the world has ever seen? 🤷🏻‍♂️ it is genuinely worth it! All you need to do is arrive by 7.30.

We'll definitely be there!!

We'll be serving food from 5.30pm if you fancy a light bite or something a bit more substantial beforehand.
