A big day of shinty is set for today (Saturday 23rd May) at the Clachan, Glendaruel, with a cracking double header in store.

Throw up is at 12 noon as Strachur- Dunoon(our 2nd team) take on Stirling Camanachd in a South Division 2 clash to get the afternoon underway.

Then at 3pm, the stakes rise as Col-Glen Shinty Club face Glasgow Mid Argyll Shinty Club in the Glasgow Celtic Society Cup Semi-Final.

Two matches, one pitch, and plenty of action from start to finish.

Make sure you’re there to back the teams and be part of it.

Something new and thirst quenching for this bank holiday weekend

A fun & refreshing blend of Heidi Weisse, our unfiltered wheat beer and blood orange soda developed to our own secret recipe. Fresh and fruity, our blood orange Radler is beautifully balanced, sophisticated yet easy drinking.

A fun & refreshing blend of Wild WEST, our unfiltered lager and lemon soda developed to our own secret recipe. Hazy and light, our lemon Radler is beautifully balanced, sophisticated yet easy drinking.

Been in town for the Wine Fair and had the most amazing lunch afterwards.

I know a lot of our followers travel to London and this is a place you need to try. £25 for a prawn cocktail and a steak (sauce included). £5 for a pint of Budvar. And the best Guinness in London.

After the success of last week’s Fyne Ales special we have another one this week

THIS WEEKS CASK SPECIAL: FRIDAY’S MILD (COLLAB WITH VERDANT BREWING) 4.3% abv.
Brewed with our friends at Verdant - Friday’s Mild is brewed to feel like that first pint after you finish work - the one where the shoulders drop, the week disappears, and everything suddenly feels a bit lighter. Pouring deep ruby with smooth malt sweetness, gentle toast and soft caramel, it is easy drinking but satisfying - the kind of pint that makes Friday feel like Friday.
