Harvest Festival 🌾

Join us at The Taybank as we bid farewell to summer and welcome the golden season in the heart of Big Tree Country. Following on from last year’s Harvest Party, we’re hosting a family-friendly weekend on the 26th & 27th of September, celebrating autumn's arrival. 🍂

Starting across the river, it’s the next at , featuring lots of wonderful local traders, while be hosting their annual Big Apple Day – the perfect pit stop before heading across the bridge to Dunkeld.

At , we’ll have the best our walled garden has to offer with harvest specials and seasonal drinks, before a harvest dance party special with ‘s & .

On Sunday, will host a morning yoga class in The Birnam Inn Tack Room, followed by face painting and a harvest squash hunt with the in The Taybank Gardens. Later, local legend Pete Caban and Captain Caban’s Caballeros will see out the weekend with live music in the gardens.

Everything is free to attend and open to all. Come for one thing, wander between a few, or make a weekend of it. We hope to see you there! 🍎

Autumn is starting to show itself in the restaurant. 🍂 The trees outside the dining room are beginning to turn, the walled garden is full of earthy late-season veg, and we’ve started lighting the fire again in the evenings. Delicious food, lovely w**e, a warm room and a view of the Tay doing its autumn thing.

We’re feeling the shift in the seasons here in Dunkeld. Lower light, the first trees beginning to turn and mornings with a little bite in the air.

Our riverside gardens will remain open throughout September and into October again this year. The Coffee Box is open from 10am for hot drinks, with the Garden Kitchen & Bar serving pizzas, tacos and drinks from 12pm.

There’s still a little summer left yet. Come and make the most of these last warm days by the river before autumn properly arrives.

Our weekly Scottish Trad Sessions fill the pub with fiddles and songs every Thursday from 8pm. A gathering of local musicians, familiar faces and anyone passing through, with tunes shared around the room and a pint or two along the way.

No stage, no tickets, just good music in good company. Come in, find a corner and stay for a tune. 🎻

Do you feel that change in the air? 🍂 It won’t be long until autumn arrives and, with it, the return of braan sauna to the Taybank Gardens.

Just as the river and hillsides start looking their best, our pop-up sauna will reopen on Friday 16th October for private bookings and shared community sessions.
We hand-built the sauna three years ago, and it’s currently getting a well-deserved spruce-up, including a new stove and upgraded benches — but with the same beautiful views over the River Tay.
