Hi folks
Just a quick update we have now refunded over 7 thousand pounds worth of Xmas vouchers and will carry on till we get them all back .now any one that has a white plastic gift card again we will be honoring any money you may have on them but unfortunately star pubs and bars (Heineken) have not allowed us significant access in order to collect our personnel belonging and a cash register which i need to process your card again i am sorry for the inconvenience this has caused everyone and please keep a eye on FB for any updates. I have just got to say I am so overwhelmed by all the really true and heart felt messages everyone has taken the time to write. it has made me smile a bit and cry a lot .
Thanks again .
Now we know a lot of people still have Xmas vouchers and gift cards and we intend to refund everyone of them but at the moment star pubs and bar are not giving us access to collect the stuff and information we need to start this but please be assured as soon as we do we will put a post up with details on how to reclaim yours I am only sorry you couldnt use them in the way they were intend.please like and share thank you

It's with sad heart I write this
It has now been decided that star pubs are not going to offer the pub back to me and are looking for a new tenant. I would just like to say the glen tavern was such a unique place over my 12 years there we have had some of the best times and some of the worst times (covid) and we also had some of the best loyal and loveliest customer alot of whom I now regard as friends, we also had some of best staff I could have ever hoped for. So this is just a thank you to everyone for their kind words it was appreciated and welcomed at this difficult time
