The roof is getting some much-needed TLC, so today we’ve got scaffolding, a skip in the car park and the general appearance of a building site. 😂

But fear not… 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐩𝐮𝐛 𝐢𝐬 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐚𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥!🍺

The builders have got the roof — 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐠𝐨𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐫 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐤𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧!🍻🍽️

Our kitchen is open as normal too, so come in, grab a pint, enjoy some food, and admire the slightly more industrial décor! 😂

After years of strategically placed buckets, suspicious-looking ceiling patches and the occasional indoor rain shower… 𝐰𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝!

The work starts 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟏𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫
and is expected to take around 𝟔 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬. We promise we’re much more excited about the finished roof than we are about the scaffolding! 😅

Here’s what you need to know:

🍺 𝐖𝐞’𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐚𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥 throughout the works, with just a couple of small changes:

🌳 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤: The car park will remain open for the duration of the works (minus 1 or 2 spaces)

🍺 𝐂𝐚𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧: The b**r garden on the side of the car park will be closed for work access for the duration.

🌿 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐝 𝐒𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧: 𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐍 𝐚𝐬 𝐮𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥. So you can still enjoy a pint outside!

🍽️ 𝐓𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 Our 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐚𝐲, but 𝐰𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐬 as normal.

We know a bit of building work isn't the prettiest sight, and there may be some noise and disruption along the way, so thank you in advance for your patience while we get the old girl watertight again. ❤️
