Summer made an appearance today for the annual Past Captains Day and both the ladies and gents provided some excellent scoring in the hot conditions.
Thanks to all who played and to the older generation of past captains who made the effort to come to the dinner, which did not disappoint, big thanks to Craig and his team excellent.
Once again to the greens staff great effort getting the course back to where it should be.
And finally to our current captains, Kerry & Ross for their great hosting duties.

Another successful Daryl Reid Open Tri-Am was held on Saturday, the weather turned just in time and the course was in superb condition! Especially given the previous days rainfall and all credit to the greens team for prewenting the course.
The day is all about remembering a young man Daryl, taken too soon and a friend to many playing today and will always be sadly missed.

Proceeds from all monies taken today go to Murray & Rita's chosen charity, Prostate Buddies D&G.
Murray once again excelled in getting locals to sponsor the event with thanks to James Erskine, Ross Murdoch, Murray Reid and the Crichton Golf Club for their generous prizes.

What a day at Thornhill young Jack Bissett got a hole in one at the Golf sixes event today and helped his young Crichton team to victory on the day , a huge thank you to all coaches and helpers and especially Ian Jess for all the extra lessons here's to the next one at the Galloway .
