🥂 We had a great turnout for the unveiling of DMC’s community mural, commissioned as part of this year’s SALUTE! programme, and painted by the incredible artist Blossom McCuaig!! 🙌

Big thanks to the guys at DMC for choosing The Open Arms as the site for the mural; great big congratulations to Blossom for producing such a stunning artwork, and thank you to everyone who came along - we very much appreciate you all! ❤️

Also, thanks to Cara for helping with the install; thanks to Emily for working her socks off all day; thanks to Em for jumping behind the bar AND taking photos, and thanks to Lewis for DJing - you’re a smashing bunch of lads! 💪

Final thing… 👀 You should really get yourself in to the pub to check out the mural in all her glory - and you can also buy a raffle ticket (or ten) for a chance to win Blossom’s original concept sketch (which is a gorgeous artwork in it’s own right), all framed up, and signed by Blossom! 🤩 We’ll draw the winner on Saturday 12th September, so make sure you buy your raffle tickets this week!!

Brewed with British malt and modern hop varieties. Soft bitterness and notes of apricot, honey and gentle spice.

🍺 Pale Ale (3.8%)
Brewed with Lake District water and British malt. Tropical and stone fruit aromas over a crisp, light body.

🍺 Bitter (3.8%)
Firm bitterness balanced by malt character, bringing notes of dark fruit, treacle and burnt toffee, with a dry, moreish finish.
