Young drams are often overlooked because of their age, however one of my favourite whiskies is the Claxton's 4 year old Glasgow.
On the nose- rich stewed fruit, dark chocolate covered raisins, heavy sherry notes
On the palate- a mix of honey glaze, rich fruits, heavy sherry and sweet oak On the finish- long, sweet finish with rich fruits and oak in the aftertaste

Last month Claxton's welcomed the Claxton’s Whisky Appreciation Society to the Dalswinton Bond for their annual visit. They spent the day with us and selected their next CWAS cask to bottle. Keep an eye out on their page to see what they picked.

Claxton's oldest whisky released to date…

The fourth Unicorn Series expression- Carsebridge aged 58 years is one of only 37 bottles. A rare opportunity to purchase spirit from the now demolished Lowland distillery which closed its doors in 1983.
