The Bittescombe Inn under new management from August 2025 is run by the Harper family Mark, Lydie and their children Ameline and Mason.

They bring a wealth of experience of over 40 years within the hospiatlly and catering industry combined with a lovely warm and family atmosphere to this delightful countryside gastropub which was renovated in 2023.

The Bittescombe Inn saw the much-loved local pub, which has served the local community for over a century, restored to its former glory. Originally a farmhouse, dating from the 17th century, the Inn serves the local community offering produce from the Bittescombe Estate and other local suppliers.

​The kitchen is led by Vere Kennett bringing her experience and passion of delivering high quality and tasty dishes. The Bittescombe Inn also has five en-suite, cosy, bedrooms each with their own distinct character and is ideally situated within the stunning Exmoor National Park and close to Wimbleball Lake, Haddon Hill and many beautiful countryside walks.
