🔨 Netherton Sports & Social Club – Last Club Auction 🔨

📅 Tuesday 11th August 2026
🕖 Club is open from 6. Auction starts at 7pm prompt.

The bar WILL NOT be open. Feel free to bring your own drinks.

Join us for an evening of bidding as we auction a range of club-owned items following our closure.

Please note:
❌ This is NOT an auction for members of the public to bring items to sell.
✅ All items being auctioned are the property of Netherton Sports & Social Club.

Whether you’re another sports club looking to purchase items for your club, a business searching for useful equipment, or an individual looking for a bargain, there will be something for everyone.

💷 Payment accepted:
• Cash
• Bank Transfer
• Card machine

The auction will be conducted in the traditional way, with the highest bidder purchasing each item. Please note that some items will have a reserve price.

Important: We will not be accepting bids in advance under any circumstances. If you wish to bid, you must attend the auction in person or arrange for someone to attend and bid on your behalf. There is no option to submit prior bids. Proxy bids are fine but payment must be made on the night of the auction.

Small items will need to be taken on the night, larger items can be collected later. Two dates and time windows will be given on the night of the auction for collection of larger items. If you are unable to collect on these dates or times, please arrange for someone else to collect on your behalf. There will be alternative collection dates.

Come along, grab yourself a bargain, and support your local club one last time. We look forward to seeing you there!

Following the Extraordinary General Meeting held on Tuesday 7th July 2026, we are writing to inform all of our members, customers, and the wider community that Netherton Sports & Social Club will be closing its doors for the final time at the end of the night on Sunday 2nd August 2026.

We understand that this news will come as a disappointment to many who have supported the club over the years, and we would like to thank each and every one of you for your loyalty, friendship, and support.

Before then, we still have one final night of entertainment to enjoy together. The Absolutely Dragulous Show will still be taking place on Saturday 18th July and will be our last entertainment night at the club. We would love to see as many of you there as possible to help us give the club the send-off it deserves and make it a night to remember before our doors close at the end of the month.

If you have a party, function, or other booking scheduled after Sunday 2nd August 2026, please be assured that we will be contacting you by the end of next week regarding your booking and any deposits that have been paid.

We appreciate that those with future bookings will have questions. However, we kindly ask that you please wait for us to contact you rather than contacting the club directly. We are working through all bookings methodically to ensure that everyone is dealt with fairly and that no one is overlooked. For this reason, we will not be responding to individual enquiries regarding bookings at this time.
