Monthly Events:

* 1st SUNDAY of the month is QUIZ NIGHT from 8pm only a pound ago. all money goes to charity maximum teams of 4 win a pint of ale or cider each.

* LAST TUESDAY of the onth from 7:30pm is acoustic night, bring your instruments and join in or just come along for a drink and listen to our local musicians

*SECOND TUESDAY of the month is JaZz Night 8pm, come for some chilled vibes and a jam sesh.

* 2nd WEDNESDAY of the month is Pie & Pea night only £5 please pre book choice of steak or mince & Onion (vegie is avalible)

*1st MONDAY of the month is Sue Warren Clairvoyant 7:30pm Book to avoid dissapointment as we do get busy!

*EVERY SUNDAY in the month is Sunday Lunch 12 noon or 5pm sitting £10 Main £2.50 Pudding.

*3rd THURSDAY of the month Is book club 8pm, join our book club and meet like minded people.

*1st Thursday of the month is craft club 7:30pm

*2nd Thursday of the month is Comedy Night 8pm £10pp buy tickets on our websire

🐾 BEHIND THE SCENES AT THE BUTCHERS DOG

The kids are back at school, summer is slowly disappearing and, behind the scenes, we’re getting ourselves ready to survive another Yorkshire winter! 😂❄️

Running a pub isn’t just about what you see when you walk through the door. There’s a lot of planning, juggling, prep and number crunching going on behind the scenes to make sure we can keep doing what we love — and keep doing it sustainably.

So, from 1st October, we’re making a few changes to our opening hours and food service.

One of the biggest changes is that we’ll be closing during the day on Tuesdays.

This gives our brilliant team a proper two-day break each week, like everyone else deserves, and gives our chef two full days off too. They work incredibly hard, and we want to make sure we’re looking after the people who keep The Butchers Dog running. ❤️

We also feel that having consistent opening and food service times is much better than constantly chopping and changing depending on the week.

Tuesday: 5pm – 10pm
Wednesday: 12pm – 11pm
Thursday: 12pm – 11pm
Friday: 12pm – 11pm
Saturday: 12pm – 11pm

We’ll still be bringing you great food, proper pub drinks, live music, events, competitions and plenty of reasons to come through the doors — just with a little more structure behind the scenes.
