🌼 Nature at its Best Around the Coffee Barn 🌼

One of the joys of staying at the Coffee Barn and campsite is stepping straight into nature. Right now, the surrounding walks & our wildflower meadow are bursting with wildflowers, adding a splash of colour to the countryside and creating a haven for bees, butterflies, and other wildlife. 🌺🦋

Whether you’re enjoying an early morning stroll with a coffee in hand or exploring the local footpaths after a day of adventure, the wildflower displays are a wonderful reminder of the beauty that surrounds us.

It is with heavy hearts that we share the sad news that our beloved Barney has passed away peacefully at the grand age of 14.

Many of you will remember Barney from around the campsite and Coffee Barn. He was often spotted sneaking inside to hoover up any crumbs he could find, wandering the campsite in search of a barbecued sausage, or patiently waiting by the kitchen door in the hope that a tasty scrap might come his way.

Barney was the happiest, waggiest, most faithful four-legged friend anyone could wish for. He brought so much joy to our family and to so many of our customers over the years, and he was very much part of the heart and soul of the place.

We know many of you will have fond memories of him and his gentle, friendly nature. He will be greatly missed by us all, but we are so grateful for the 14 wonderful years we had with him.

What an absolutely incredible weekend at the Coffee Barn! ☕🐾🎶💃

From the first dance at our charity ceilidh to the final medal handed out at the Dog Olympics, the barn and grounds were bursting with energy, laughter, music, and wagging tails all weekend long.

✨ Highlights included:
🎻 A fantastic charity ceilidh that had everyone on their feet
🐶 Our all-breed fun dog show, with some truly wonderful four-legged stars
🏅 The ever-entertaining Dog Olympics, where dogs of all shapes and sizes gave it their all
🎵 A brilliant musical festival atmosphere with talented performers and great community spirit
☕ Endless coffee, cake, and smiles in the Coffee Barn
❤️ Most importantly, raising vital funds for Teenage Cancer Trust

A huge thank you to everyone who attended, entered their dogs, danced, volunteered, performed, donated, and helped make the weekend such a success. Special thanks to the incredible dogs who stole the show (and to the gentle giant Leonberger keeping a watchful eye over the festivities! 🐾).
