Happy St Patrick’s Day 🍻

Being a bartender isn’t just pouring drinks — it’s being on your feet for hours with no lunch break, no real chance to sit down, and barely a moment to breathe.
You’re moving nonstop. Taking orders, making drinks, cleaning, stocking, running tabs, answering questions, breaking up awkward moments, and somehow still trying to keep a smile on your face while doing it all.
People see the bar and think it’s easy. They think you’re just standing there mixing drinks. What they don’t see is the constant pressure behind the bar — tending to everyone at once, trying to keep up with a full rail of tickets, a crowded bar top, and someone waving their hand because they think they’ve been waiting too long.
And even when you’re doing your absolute best, there’s always someone complaining that you didn’t serve them fast enough or didn’t cater to them hand and foot.
The truth is, bartending is one of the most exhausting jobs out there. It takes patience, speed, memory, thick skin, and the ability to stay calm in chaos.
Being a bartender is not for the weak. It’s for the ones who can handle the pressure, keep the drinks flowing, and still show up and do it all over again the next shift.
