Active thursday! And more world cup decs, today we did alot of hand eye co-ordination games..hook a boat, bowling, throwing/catching, kicking and rolling the ball along the tubes to try and stop it in the black lines everyone did great! And John always wants Montavani on so today i put it on only to find that Mary B & Vera are big fans of him too! John was very happy to have new memebers in his montavani gang 😅

World Cup Crafts! Today we had a number of ways to craft some flags, footballs and football shirts but everyone opted for pens! So we got busy colouring in differenr designs whilst nattering away (well us girls) john was very quiet concentrating on his art the ladies told john this was the quietest they had ever seen him to which he laughed and said im concentrating 🤣 we then cut out our Laureston House Residents Footballers! You may notice a few of the same faces, we have printed out all our residents faces and staff on the football kits that they have picked out for the world cup sweep stake! 🤣 it looks amazing, can you spot your loved ones? ⚽️

National cheese day yesterday!
A lot of cheese lovers at our home. Based on conversations we had had earlier in the week we decided to get the cheeses most people said rhey had never tried and try them! Some went down a treat and some not as much aha.
We each tried them, said what we thought about the flavour and marked it out of 5 to pick our favourite! 🧀 everyone has really enjoyed cheese week!

Wet & windy day out side but lovely and cosy inside for to days games of Bingo. Our winners today were: Lines - Brian x 2, John & Phyllis. Full Houses - Vera x 2, Brian, June x 2, Mary B. Well done to the winners. We also had the lovely Nicky here doing the ladies & gents hair. Looking forward to next weeks game which will be on Monday. ❤️

Cheese quiz day! Today we started off with 'Guess the cheese' picture all around the home , then we all had discussions about our favourite cheese and what we hadnt tried yet for ideas for our cheese tasting on thursday 😋 then we had a look at what some of the residents funny cheese names would be.. then to finish the day befoe dinner a group quiz! Did Lucy cheat? Of course she did! 🤣 if you ask me Tegan’s 'Brie' team won.. if you ask Lucy then her 'Cheddar' team won 🤣 great cheese fun had by all
