After what feels like forever, the England World Cup campaign begins as we host Croatia in Dallas 🇺🇸

Drinks deals on all pitchers and Pašticada being made to honour our opponents.

Bingo has been postponed to allow us to open the function room so come along, bring two non-members to enjoy the deals and let’s get behind the boys 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿⚽️

Tables normally fill up fast so get there early to avoid disappointment!

Good Afternoon All

Last evening the sweepstake draws took place in the main bar area with Sean making the selections, under the ever watchful eye of Wendy our committee member as official witness to make sure there were no underhand tactics to ensure Sean got France in every draw 👀

Please look at the attached photo’s for the results which will also be available in club.

(Unfortunately the £10 card did not fill up but thank you for everybody who we were able to make contact with who made another £5 card available!)

We’d like to take the opportunity to thank everybody who took part in this!

Hi All, with the World Cup only 6 days away we have completed the £1 and £2 sweepstakes!!

Unfortunately we are still not full on the following:

£5 sweep - 20 spaces left
£10 sweep - 20 spaces left

If these are not filled by the 11th of June we will need to refund all entries for this which would be very disappointing!

Next time you’re in secure a place in either draw with a top prize available of £150 and £300 respectively ⚽️ ⚽️ ⚽️

As the World Cup approaches, East Christchurch Sports and Social Club will be running a members only sweepstake for the competition.

We will be running 4 separate sweeps side by side with the idea that it caters to all budgets.

£1 Entry - £30 Winner, £10 Runner up, £5 3rd Place

£2 Entry - £60 Winner, £20 Runner up, £10 3rd Place

£5 Entry - £150 Winner, £50 Runner up, £25 3rd Place

£10 Entry - £300 Winner, £100 Runner Up, £50 3rd Place

Once all 48 teams have been sold for each denomination, a World Cup ‘out of the hat’ style draw will be recorded live and posted to socials to avoid any scandals.

The £10 draw will be done live on the evening of the opening game on 11th June but our very own John Foggo.

No limit on the number of teams you can buy across all sweeps and if all teams aren’t taken, the prize pot will either be adjusted or the unlikely winning team without an owner will be decided by committee!

Tickets to be paid for at the bar at the time of entry and no tickets will be reserved.

Live music from 6-8pm, members can sign in two friends - would be great to see as many of you as possible!! 🍻🍾⚽️

Just a reminder in regards to the World Cup Sweepstake we’re running here at the club for all our members.

For each sheet we have 48 teams and we currently have the following availability still:

£1- 18 spaces left
£2- 19 spaces left
£5- 33 spaces left
£10- 30 spaces left

We are currently doing really well with spots filling up and have pretty much sold half of the available tickets on average, don’t leave it too late and miss out 😬

We are not usually open all day on a bank holiday Monday but Steph Smith and Chris Payne have kindly offered to keep the doors open for you all tomorrow to watch Chelsea Vs Forrest at 3pm and enjoy a few extra hours of cheer on this bank holiday Monday!!
