A traditional country pub in the picturesque village of Martinstown, near Dorchester. We offer great homemade food and a good selection of real ales and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. There's a large car park making us a great meeting place and dogs are welcome in the bar area. We also have two beautiful, dog-friendly B and B rooms - one with full wheelchair access and a wet room.

A selection of some of chef Martins specials since joining the team in June, including confit duck leg with fondant potatoes, honey and mustard ham hock with bubble and squeak, pulled pork arrancini, spinach and sunblush tomato frittata, bouillabaisse, hunters chicken with home made BBQ sauce. And of course our fantastic Sunday roasts with home made cauliflower and leek cheese, sausage meat stuffing balls, crispy roast potatoes and lashings of gravy - so if you’re a fan of flavour then come along and let us tantalise your tastebuds! Booking recommended to ensure a table.
