🎄✨ IT’S BEGINNING TO LOOK A LOT LIKE CHRISTMAS… ✨🎄
Our festive display is starting to come together at The Boat and, yes, we know it’s only September… but we’re getting excited already. 👀🎅
The decorations might still be a work in progress, but Christmas bookings are well and truly underway! So if you’re planning the work Christmas do, a festive catch-up with friends or the big family get-together, now’s the time to get it in the diary. 🥂🎁

All of our Christmas bookings are handled online only. Unfortunately, we’re unable to take festive bookings over the phone or in the pub, so please use the online booking system to secure your table.

What a lovely weekend it’s been! ❤️
We’ve absolutely loved being part of the Sprotbrough Scarecrow Festival and seeing so many people out and about around the village enjoying the trail, spotting the scarecrows and getting involved.
A huge thank you to everyone who organises and supports the festival for allowing The Boat Inn to be a part of such a brilliant local tradition. Ten years is an amazing milestone, and we hope everyone has had a fantastic time celebrating it! 🥳
And, of course, we couldn’t finish without introducing our contribution...

🏃‍♀️🚴 100 MILES FOR SOCIAL BITE! 🚶‍♂️💪
This September, some of The Boat Inn team are taking on 100 miles to help Social Bite in their mission to end homelessness. ❤️
Throughout the month, we’ll be clocking up the miles however we can – walking, running, cycling, rowing, hitting the treadmill… if it gets us moving, it counts!
Several members of the team are getting involved, and we’ll be keeping you updated throughout September as those miles start adding up. 👀
Most importantly, we’d love your support! Every donation, big or small, helps Social Bite continue otheir incredible work tackling homelessness.

It’s not the busy shifts.
It’s not remembering who ordered what.
It’s watching plate after plate of food come out of the kitchen and having to remind yourself:
“That’s for the customer.” 😭😂
Honestly, working around food that smells this good all day should come with some sort of hazard pay.
And if you ever catch one of us staring lovingly at your dinner as we bring it over… don’t worry. We’re just saying goodbye. 👋🍔
