As Bawtry's Arts venue, the Phoenix Theatre is home to Bawtry Dramatic Society proud members of NODA, with a membership of around 80 people, producing between three and four productions a year; the Young Players, currently running at their maximum membership of 50, who meet every Saturday morning and perform in around two productions a year; Bawtry Film Society, showing around 20 critically acclaimed British and foreign films a season; and regular Folk and Blues music evenings. The theatre, together with its coffee lounge and bar facilities, is also hired out for local community and school events and plays.

Do you know that as well as putting on plays, musicals and other performances, we also have our very own ‘Silver Screen’ club! 🍿🎥

Join us at Bawtry Phoenix Theatre for a great afternoon of classic and much-loved films, all for just £4, with tea and cakes included! ☕🍰

And the best bit… there’s no need to book! Just turn up, pay on the door and enjoy the film. 🎞️
