Well it's now official....our time has come to move on to pastures new 😀 Those of you who know us well will know the struggles we have had and the sacrifices we have made for our family. The last 2 years have been difficult...juggling our working life and our family life whilst sustaining a family home to accomodate our 2 boys that we don't live in.

We have been given a wonderful opportunity that will provide us with a more balanced life and is simply too good an opportunity to pass up.

We will be saying our fond farewells to Doncaster and heading for York on the 6th February.

We would like to thank you all for your continued support and custom over the past 2 years and reassure you that it will be business as usual at the Lord Nelson and with the anticipated closure of the urban bar in February reopening in March will see 2 craft union pubs running side by side ...very exciting times ahead for Doncaster nightlife.

Friday 1st February sees the return of DJ Johnny so put on those glad rags and dust off those dancing shoes....let's make our last weekend one that we will remember for a very long time.

And if your ever in Pocklington be sure to call in and say hello at The Black Swan 🤗
