A huge thank you to everyone who came along on Saturday for our third-year bash.
Whether you stayed for most of the day or just called in for a quick drink to say hello, your support was greatly appreciated.
Thanks to Paul Gibbard for a superb afternoon of music and to Tom for another top vinyl night. Thanks also to Clarkes Butchers for the very tasty pork pies and Scotch eggs that kept us going throughout the day.
A big thank you to Kimberley for her efforts behind the bar and, although she couldn’t be with us on Saturday, to Natalie too for everything she has done this year.
Three years have gone incredibly quickly. I had a quick tot-up, and during that time we’ve brought you over 350 different beers and ciders on the bar, as well as more than 500 different canned and bottled beers and ciders.
That was always one of the things we wanted to do with the Brass Lamp — give you the chance to try different brews from all over the UK and indeed the world rather than just the standard pub choices. Thank you for going along with it, trying something different and occasionally trusting us when we’ve said, “Give this one a go!”
Most importantly, though, thank you to all of you who come through the door and support us. A microbar is nothing without its customers, and we’re very fortunate to have plenty of familiar faces who keep coming back.
Hopefully, year four will bring plenty more different drinks, music, events and a few new faces along the way.
Thank you for the first three years. Here’s to number four.
