Wow, what a day we had here earlier this week on
Barring a few minutes of raindrops, which deterred nobody, the weather was once again kind to us all. We have already put in a booking for a dry day for the 2027 event.
A big thank you is due to the valiant efforts of our dedicated team of volunteers, without whom the provision of hot food would not be possible. To the wonderful people who supported we can confirm that the funds raised for were £837.50 from the BBQ. This is a higher figure than last year. In addition £131.47 was put into the donations bucket. £133.52 was raised by Lucy's badges to whom a special thank you.
All the musicians from both our acts and were delighted with the positive reactions that they received from a receptive audience and enjoyed playing for them.
It was a very long working day, on their feet, for most of the staff here and the landlord is very grateful for their dedication and support, as are, no doubt, our wonderful clientele.
Remember to support on Saturday. We are in a prime location on the route. We would be pleased to see you all back here with us.
