The Crown is a delightful mix of old and new, situated in the vibrant market town of Devizes. ea, bar and grill - the jewel in our crown! You can access the glorious Kennet and Avon canal from our beer garden and the rich Wiltshire countryside is minutes away too. Well behaved pups are welcome as long as they are accompanies by well behaved owners!

To all of our customers and supporters, we are extremely saddened to announce that we have taken the difficult decision to close the Crown.

As many of you know, we took on a huge unloved building, cleaned, decorated and breathed live into it! Over the past months, we have made huge strides, however, nobody could have predicted the terrible events of the past months, all of which have had a huge impact on us.

We would like to thank you for your love and support since we opened - we have had some great fun, fab events and served some delicious food since July!

I would also like to thank the team that stood by us and with us over the past months - judging by the wonderful comments and reviews, you appreciated our FOH and kitchen team almost as much as we did!

To everyone reading this - please remember it is tough out there for all small businesses so be kind and wherever you can.

Such a wonderful evening on Monday here at the Crown! Here’s one of our brand new puds, which went down extremely well! Our new Sticky Date Pudding is drenched in a Bourbon Butterscotch Sauce and is served with Rowdey Cow Ice Cream Parlour & Farm Cafe ice cream! Yes, it tastes as good as it looks! 🍿
