⚽️🎯 We had the pleasure of welcoming back the FISTF Grand Prix to Nerve Centre this weekend, hosted by Derry City Table Football Club. The tournament brought together some of the world's top table football talent for a fantastic weekend of competition.

The Derry weather certainly didn't dampen spirits, with players travelling from across Europe, including Barcelona FT, Hanover, Yorkshire Phoenix TFC and the world-renowned Bormla Subbuteo Club (Malta).

A huge congratulations to everyone involved! 👏

👏 🎤 We'd like to thank our panel of speakers, which included representatives from Pixida Films and North West Migrants Forum , who joined for a post-screening discussion on the themes raised throughout the programme, which traced fragments of journeys between Ireland, England and Greece.

✨ 🙏💧 Thanks to everyone who came to Riddel's Warehouse last night as we marked the official launch of 'Outpouring' as part of Late Night Art Belfast 🌙 🎨

'Outpouring' is the latest collaboration between artist Joe Caslin and Nerve Centre, involving the participation of 120 young people from 7 different schools across Belfast that created visual and verbal art exploring what it means to be a young person in Northern Ireland today 💬 ✍️🎧

At our five-day Games Jam, you’ll team up with other creatives to develop a brand new game concept — no experience needed!

You will...
🤝 Work in a creative team to conceptualise, build and present a game.
👋 Get support from gaming students and industry professionals.
💻 Coders will follow a game brief with the aim to create a playable, user-friendly experience.
🎨 Artists and animators will shape the visual identity, designing assets and creating animated sequences using Procreate.

We are partnering with PRONI to deliver five workshops over three weeks where you will get the chance to produce a podcast on the life and collections of acclaimed folklorist Sam Hanna Bell. ✍️

You will be working with freelance radio producer Alan Meban and his extensive collection contained at PRONI. 📚

The Riptide Movement Celebrate 20 Years at Nerve Centre! 🎶🎸🎤

Irish rock band The Riptide Movement have announced The 20 Year Anniversary Tour, celebrating two decades of music, memories and connection with audiences across Ireland and beyond.

The announcement follows the band’s 20th anniversary celebrations, including the release of a powerful orchestral reimagining of their acclaimed song “All Works Out”, recorded with National Symphony Orchestra Ireland. 🎻

Formed in Dublin in 2006, The Riptide Movement are a Choice Prize-nominated, Gold-selling, Number 1 rock band, renowned for their energetic live shows and their genre-blending sound spanning indie, folk, blues, and rock. With five critically acclaimed albums, the band has built a loyal following through their authenticity, energy, and unforgettable live performances. 🎵

Over the past 20 years, they have sold out iconic venues, performed at major festivals such as Glastonbury and Electric Picnic, and have shared stages with The Rolling Stones, Van Morrison and Neil Young.

✨ 🎨 We're building up to the official launch of 'Outpouring', the new immersive installation from artist Joe Caslin, which will feature as part of Late Night Art Belfast this Thursday 4 June at Riddel's Warehouse, Belfast 🗓️📍

💬👂 'Outpouring' offers a space for young voices to be expressed and heard through the forms of visual art and written word artefacts, with a new large-scale art piece from Joe Caslin binding everything together thematically at the centre ❤️ ✍️

'Outpouring' will also feature a free events programme, including digital art work shops, a special Tenx9 storytelling night and a selection of archival film screenings with the Northern Ireland Now project that reflect diverse voices in the Northern Ireland Screen Digital Film Archive 📽️ 🎞️

🗣️ Come and listen to what we all need to hear as Outpouring opens to the public on Saturday 30 May until Sunday 5 July ⏰

Opening hours are 11am–4pm, Thursday to Sunday, except on Thursday 4 June and Thursday 2 July, when the exhibition will open from 5pm–10pm as part of Late Night Art.
