Crime & Punishment weekend to Commemorate 200th Anniversary of the Pentrich Revoloution of 1817.

Come and Join Richard Felix for an afternoon talking about crime and punishment in the Derby Gaol Garden. Hear the shocking story of the three Pentrich men who were kept till their executed on 7th November 1817 on the front of the Gaol.

Saturday 4th November - Derby Gaol from 11am till 3pm at £5 per person

The first tours will take place at 11am and then 12,30pm & 2pm. You can turn up and pay on the gate

Address - There is a free car park at the back of the Gaol on Agrad Street, DE1 1DZ (opposite THe Golden Eagle Pub). Please ignore the clamping sign as this applies in the day time from Mon - Fri

Come and join Richard Felix for an in depth talk about the last armed revolution in Great Britain. The last sentencing to be Hung, Drawn and Quartered. The three Pentrich martyrs who were Hung and Beheaded on the front of Derby Gaol in 1817.

Evening all

I just wanted to share this great news i've been given today about the Ghost & History tours which i was asked to be apart by Fluid.160 people have joined us on our March and April walks, and we've raising over £1,300 for Rainbows Children's Hospice. Due to demand we have added some new dates for those that weren't able to attend before.

Darley Abbey Ghost Walk is now monthly till August! dates: Wed 3rd May, Fri 2nd June, Thur 6th July, Wed 2nd Aug

Each one features the original doors which have been rehung, complete with the prisoners' original 'graffiti'... names, dates, and day markers, etched into the wood, marking down how many days the prisoner had until executio...
