We usually prefer to deal with all matters like this in private. However as a negative public review has been published for everyone to see - including people that have never been to our establishment - we reserve the right to go international with our response 🌏, with the objective of showing you what we sometimes have to deal with.
For anyone who doesn't understand how fires work - three conditions are required: 1. Heat 2. Fuel 3. Oxygen. Any combustible materials can ignite and burn when exposed to sufficient heat or ignition source.
It is perfectly normal for pubs, restaurants and bars to have real tealights on tables and we think they really add to the ambience of the venue. Naturally, it would be easier for us to not have them at all but we include them in order to enhance your experience 🕯
So, moral of the story is when you see our twinkling tealights on the table (they are highly visible) - don't place anything on them, otherwise it will result in likely disappointment. Likewise if you prefer not to sit with one on your table you are well within your rights to simply blow it out 🌬 we won't take it personally.
We hope that you don't think we're being petty, we are trying to make light (pun intended) of the situation and at the same time remind people that if you make poor decisions then you have to take the consequences, instead of trying to blame others. We work really hard to ensure that you always have the best possible experience, so it is disappointing to get unfair feedback such as the one featured on this post.
