Hey everyone🌱🌱,

🌱🌱In line with recent government announcements and official advice we have made the decision to close Roots until we are advised that it is safe for everyone to be back out on the streets. We are gutted to have to do this but the safety of our guests has to come first. Even our delicious coffee and cake isn’t worth risking yourselves for! 🌱🌱

As soon as we can we will be opening our doors to welcome you all back. This is a very difficult time for our local businesses so hopefully we can get back to normal again soon.

In the meantime, please keep yourselves safe and we will hopefully see you all before too long.

We are so gutted to hear this from our next door neighbours and older Sadler Gate sibs 💔 not only because of all the fun we’ve had having pints after work or spending Sundays listening to music, but because you guys have truly been so helpful and wonderful to us from day one, and we can’t thank you enough 😘
Hope you had a BALL last night and your heads aren’t too sore this morning- we wish you love and luck going forward wherever life takes you next! ✨🌱

Morning! So...we’ve gone absolutely rogue. It’s the middle of the week, not a special occasion, and we’re just announcing something like this?!

(It’s mainly cos I wanted something new to put on the a board to see if it would survive these winds 👀🌪)

It’s the last Saturday not only of the year but of the decade, so surely there’s only one way to spend it- sparkly, dancing and full of bubbles!!! 🥂🍾🥂

James is in his Christmas jumper and got called ‘the Michael Bublé of Derby’ after his go at karaoke at a Christmas party last week so come and celebrate mad Friday with us for your chance to see him in action 😂

Definitely getting into the festive swing of things here now ✨

Hot toddies are going down an absolute treat(this one is dark rum, toffee nut and star anise. Christmas in a cup!) and at £3.50 each it’d actually be rude not too.

Mulled wine is £1.50, hot chocs £2.50, and loads of our cocktails are 2 for £10. What a dream!

(Also I can neither confirm nor deny that there may be some Christmas tunes sprinkled in my playlist later...you’ll just have to come in and find out!)
