LOCAL RESIDENTS OPEN EVENING – Dan McLennan, MD Stange & Co Stange & Co. would like to welcome the local residents of Brookhouse and Denbigh to pop along on Monday 16th of December between 4pm and 6pm to view the initial draft drawings of the future plans for the pub. He, along with a number of the team, will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

📣 Important announcment 📣

We are all happy and emotional to announce the sale of Brookhouse Mill to Stange & Co.

It has been in our family for 43 years. It's a bittersweet moment for us, as this mill holds countless cherished memories from weddings to christenings that we’ve been honored to share with you all.

We want to express our deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported our Family throughout these years. John and Karen would be happy to see the legacy of Brookhouse Mill continue under the care of its new owners, who will undoubtedly do fantastic job.

To all the friends we've made along the way, thank you for being part of this journey. We encourage you to share your memories here as we transition this page to the new owners. We have so many happy memories as a Family as I’m sure many of you do too.

We look forward to visiting Brookhouse Mill in the future, this time from the other side of the bar!

Due to the tragic events of the last 14 months, we have made the decision that without Karen and John we cannot continue with Brookhouse Mill. It is with great sadness that Brookhouse will close and be offered for sale with the hope that a new owner can be found to take the business forward for the next 41 years.

Brookhouse Mill has been the place for so many special occasions and created so many memories that have touched peoples lives.

We would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone who has been involved in making Brookhouse Mill what it was - a big part of the community and one big family.

We would also like to thank everyone, from staff past and present, customers, suppliers, friends and family for all their support over the past 41 years.

Brookhouse Mill will remain shut until at least the 15th June, whilst the family comes to terms with what happened.

**Important Notice**

Please be aware that on Friday for Karen’s Celebration of life in Brookhouse Mill after the funeral, we will be operating a cash paying bar with all proceeds to be donated to the 2 charities Karen chose: North Wales Cancer Centre and Macmillan Cancer Support. As raising money for these charities was very close to Karen’s heart.

We welcome everyone to join us at Brookhouse Mill to celebrate Karen’s life throughout the afternoon and evening. Please can we ask anyone who is planning to attend to park responsibly as car park is limited.

The Family would like to thank you all for your condolences, flowers & kind messages.

The huge outpouring of love & respect for Karen has really helped us at this devastating time.

The Funeral will take place at St Asaph Crematorium on Friday the 13th May at 12 noon for close friends and family.

We welcome everyone to Brookhouse Mill from 2pm to celebrate Karen’s life.
