It’s a long one sorry:
As you know our fireworks is supported by the Parish Council, unfortunately this year we are unable to receive as much of the grant as we applied for due to funds being spent elsewhere.
So WE NEED YOUR HELP, we have a few events where we will be fund raising, we need to raise £500 to put towards the fireworks to ensure that they are just as amazing as they have have been.
Each year as a club we do take a loss for this event, whilst the area is amazingly busy, we don’t take enough over the bar to cover the outgoing costs for bar staff and the fireworks themselves even with the grant. We like to think the evening overall creates great memories.
We have tried bottle bars, putting on a singers, doing the food ourselves etc but again all of these incur additional costs overall and the takings are just not covering it.
