**This Saturday – Our Final Party ❤️**
We’ve been trying to find the right words for this… and truthfully, there aren’t many.
This Saturday will be our **final party**, and it really will be our last. We now have the finances in place to begin the conversion, so this weekend marks the end of our time behind the bar.
We know many of you had hoped the pub would be taken on by someone else, and so did we. We genuinely tried to sell it — but after only two viewings and one offer (which we accepted, but unfortunately the buyer couldn’t raise the funds), it just wasn’t meant to be. That was a huge disappointment for us, and we know it will be for many of you too. But there comes a point where you have to look after yourselves and your family.
For over twenty years, this pub has been our home. It’s where our children have grown up, where friendships have formed, where laughter has filled the room, and where so many memories have been made. From busy nights at the bar to quiet chats in the corner, it’s all meant more to us than we could ever explain.
This weekend isn’t about endings so much as celebrating everything that’s come before it.
So come and join us — for one last drink, one last catch-up, one last time all together. Let’s fill the place with the same warmth and spirit that it’s always had.
Let’s **drink the bar dry**, share some stories, and give it the send-off it deserves.
Thank you for being part of it all. We’ll carry these memories with us forever.

PS. Saturday is our last official day. If anything still needs drinking, we’ll open for a couple of hours Sunday evening.
