New addition to Sunday’s warm food menu . . .

Vacherin Mont d’Or cheese 🧀💛

Served warm and eaten like a fondue with fresh Docker Sourdough Bakery sourdough bread for dipping, this cheese is 40-50% milk fat so it’s deliciously creamy, super moreish, and utterly naughty!

Pair it with a glass (or bottle!) of our
Côtes du Jura, Chardonnay 2020 from La Fruitière Vinicole de Pupillin.

With a nutty, bruised apples and sherry vibe, whilst still retaining a really nice electric acidity and freshness, the Côtes du Jura makes the perfect pairing for this indulgent cheese👌🤩

With autumn upon us we’re making a few tweaks to our Sunday warm food offering that you’re gonna love!

Starting this week you will now be able to pre-book your table for Pie Sundays! 🥧

With bookings limited to 20 seats (the rest available for walk-ins as usual), just give us a call or an email to reserve your table (and pies!)

Not only that, we’re adding delicious, creamy potato dauphinois to the menu, so we have everything you need for a slap-up Sunday lunch!

How about a few oysters, some hot smoked salmon, or a plate of saucisson to start . . .

followed by homemade shortcrust pie, creamy potato dauphinois and a fresh house salad to share . . .

topped off with a rich, custardy crème brûlée . . . and of course a plate of gooey French cheese!

All washed down with the best w**e selection this side of Kent!

Not to mention a pretty fantastic range of digestif to round it all off!

Sounds like the perfect Sunday to me!

This week is Negroni Week!

For this week only, in addition to our usual £6 classic negronis we are also offering a special negroni with a French twist!

The Chartreuse Negroni! £10

Green Chartreuse
Gin
Campari
Red vermouth

It’s the perfect blend between the bitterness of the Negroni and the herbaceous and spicy taste given by the Green Chartreuse.

Fancy switching it up? We can also make it with yellow Chartreuse!

Chartreuse, is a French herbal liqueur that has been made by Carthusian monks since 1737 in the Chartreuse Mountains north of Grenoble, France. It is composed of distilled alcohol aged with 130 herbs, plants and flowers, and sweetened, though the exact recipe is known only to select monks!

Some might say this particular negroni est bon pour la santé!

So pop down and visit us this week and try a negroni Le Pinardier style!

With 16 pages of deliciousness to choose from, our range now includes over 300 different w**es . . . all meticulously tried and tested by our very own Benoit and Yannick (poor them!)

We’re opening SUNDAY NIGHTS for the summer!

Squeeze the most out of your weekend and those balmy, summer evenings with a sundowner on our little pavement terrace, or linger over a few oysters and some cheese with a bottle of w**e.
