Crown Paints Sports & Social Club A social club with excellent facilities for parties and group fund raising events. Live entertainment every Friday night with cash bingo and cash draw.

Great night out. A good spacious Social Club with dance floor and stage. We have a crown green bowling green, 2 full sized snooker tables, a pool table, dominoes and a dart board. As you are all well aware, the Crown Paints Sports & Social Club closed it's doors for the last time on 31st December 2024. Also known locally as The Walpamur Club or The Wallop over the years, we have many memories.

We would like to thank everyone for their custom and support over many years. Too many people to mention names but everyone knows their own part that they played.

This page will stay active to allow people to access photographs and memories of their visits and times in "The Wallop". Please feel free to share memories on here.

As the Club is now closed, we are unable to take bookings for parties or continue to support live music and young musicians in the local area. Please do not send any messages enquiring about the Club as we will not be answering them.

We wish the staff and all our members, friends and supporters very well for the future. Stay safe and keep enjoying live music locally.

Once again, the weekend approaches and we have more great LIVE entertainment lined up for you this Friday, 13th September. This Friday, it's NICK WRIGHT sharing his vocal skills with us and keeping us entertained.

This Friday 9th August, we have an evening with Ravvy along with your cash draw and cash bingo.

Ravvy will be playing music from all ages and inviting you to join in the entertainment with a bit of karaoke. A bit different from normal but has been great fun in the past.

On Saturday 6th July, England take on Switzerland at 5:00 pm in the Quarter Final of Euros 2024. Okay, they haven't played brilliantly in this tournament but they are still there. Now would be a good time to pick up the performances and get stronger. We will be open for families to enjoy the match and cheering on England.
