🏆 June Team Recognition 🏆

This month's Team Recognition goes to Sara & Daniela for their hard work, dedication, time, effort, and commitment to fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support. 💚
Their most recent event, held just a couple of weeks ago, was organised in only three days. Even while working off shift they collaborated brilliantly, sharing ideas and pulling together an amazing day for everyone involved.
From the cake sale 🍰 and raffles 🎟️ to the Beat the Goalie challenge ⚽, the event was a huge success and brought the team together for a fantastic cause.
Thanks to their determination and teamwork, they raised just under £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support! 👏💚
A huge congratulations and thank you to both of you for making such a positive impact EVEN BIGGER THANK YOU TO OUR AMAZING CUSTOMERS WHO GOT INVOLED TO MAKE IT A GREAT SUCCESS.

❤️ What an incredible couple of weeks! ❤️

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has donated, taken part, and supported us in raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.

A huge congratulations to Sara & Josh, who came out on top and took the gunge today! 👏 The support from the crowd was absolutely amazing. The high-fives, cheers, and words of encouragement from people they had never even met made it all worthwhile and created a truly special atmosphere.

Thanks to everyone’s generosity and enthusiasm, The Bear & Ragged Staff has raised an incredible £775 for Macmillan over the last two weeks! 🎉💚

Today we say goodbye to Matt.
Many of you will have met him over the last year and know just how much joy, energy, and laughter he brought to The Bear. He has been a fantastic member of our team, and it’s been a pleasure having him with us.
While we’re sad to see him go, the time has come for Matt to continue his journey elsewhere. We know he’ll be a huge asset wherever he goes next.

Big, thank you! Our Tub2Pub campaign has done it again! For the sixth consecutive year, a record number of tubs have been collected thanks to the massive support from all our pub communities. We collected almost 295,000 plastic sweet and biscuit tubs in January and February, diverting them from landfill and raising funds for our charity partner, Macmillan Cancer Support. This is a great example of community action at its best, with the pub and people at the heart of it. We’re so pleased that the proceeds of the sale of 33.74 tonnes of recycled plastic equates to a £10,122 donation for Macmillan 💚 Since its launch in 2021, Tub2Pub has collected 88,435kg of plastic – which is around 769,000 tubs – raising £45,369 to date for this incredible charity. Thank you for all your support and all your tubs!
