French vs. British Cheese @ Sortie

Here at Sortie, we are always looking for any excuse to celebrate drinking w**e and eating cheese. The third Thursday in November, w**e lovers across the world celebrate the end of harvest with Beaujolais Nouveau Day.

Beaujolais Day marks the moment the first young red of the season is released and enjoyed in France at parties. It was bought in barrels floated down the soame river and served using pitchers at the bars and restaurants.

As a salute to this, Sortie is offering an evening to enjoy some French cheeses vs. some of our British counterparts, and we will leave it to you to decide who comes out on top. Paired with a beautiful bottle of Beaujolais and some olives to start.

Book your table for this special night and an excuse to drink and eat too much.

We are showcasing a soft washed rind cheese Soumaintrain, St Maure de Touraine Ash AOP Goat ( ash covered goat log, Fourme D’Ambert Puy Laveze ( an ancient blue cheese) and Beaufort D’ete ( a comte style sweet nutty cheese)

They are up against some amazing British equivalents all on one cheese board,

Expect 8 cheeses, a bottle of Beaujolais nouveau, and a welcome snack of gordal olives.

We dont often do promotions, but we want to stretch out the summer vibes throughout September as it's just gone to fast!!
We will be doing our Pineapple Margaritas (made with our own infused Pineapple tequila) Strawberry Spritz (made with our own Strawberry infused gin), Sarti Spritz as that's what everyone was drinking in France this year and a Caipirinha, just because we love them.
