A little piece of Waterloo Cross history… ❤️

Many years ago, this site was known as The Cottage Inn, welcoming travellers along the old A38 through Uffculme. Later it became a Little Chef stop for people travelling between Taunton and Exeter, before evolving into the Waterloo Cross we know today.

From weary travellers stopping for a rest, to families meeting for Sunday lunch, breakfast before work, celebrations, bike nights and everything in between — this building has welcomed generations through its doors.

We’re proud to be part of its story and proud to keep the history of the Waterloo Cross alive for future generations.
