We here at Blaenrhondda Social Club are devastated to share the news of the passing of Mr Brian Evans.

Brian had been a member for many years and also served as a committee member and treasurer, something we at the club will always be very grateful for .

Our condolences go out to Sheila, Leanne, Ian and the rest of Brians family

We here at Blaenrhondda Social Club are devastated to share the news of the passing of Alan Robotham.

Alan was our dearest friend and one of our longest serving members, as he has used the club since the 1960s! Whether it was playing Snooker & being part of the team years ago or more recently enjoying a ‘half’ with his great friends every night in the Snug. All that knew Alan would know he loved his music, especially Frank Sinatra. If there weren’t Music on the TV, he would always chirp up ‘Where’s the bloody Music’ proceeding then to find the remote off someone who had it 😂

What brings us peace in Alan’s passing, is that he is now reunited with his only and most precious love of his life, his wife Vi ❤️

R.I.P Alan - We will miss you, sleep tight 💔

Once again we would like to welcome the community to gather and place baubles on the memorial Christmas tree for loved ones that sadly cannot be with us this festive season this will be outside the club on Saturday 6th December 5.00pm start if you would like to bring your own personalised baubles that will be fine if not we will have decorations on the evening for you to personalise, the bar will also be open if you would prefer to raise a glass to those 🍻
