✨ MEET THE TEAM: CALLUM ✨

This week, we’re meeting Callum, who has been part of the team since March 2025! 👋

Callum has become a very familiar face around the pub as a valued member of the team. 🤗

His favourite drink is our seasonal Badger beer Spanner but it’s not just any ale, it’s our collaboration with James May 🔧🍻

💪 He loves calisthenics, building some serious strength and training others too, very handy moving those kegs in the cellar!

🍕 He REALLY loves pizza, and when we say really, we mean REALLY. We’re not sure there’s ever a bad time for pizza in Callum’s book! 😂 So it’s no surprise his favourite dish on the menu is a Pepperoni pizza 😋

🎸 Callum also enjoys playing the guitar, which brings him some calm after a busy shift.

🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK: HALO 🐾

Meet Halo! 🐶✨ At 11 years young, she’s clever, full of character and has her routine down to a T!!

First, it includes her morning walk followed by a refreshing bowl of water and a mocha (for her mum) at the pub (obviously). In fact, she loves it so much that she is always leading her Mum in . . . definitely has her priorities right! 😉

Halo has only one true obsession . . . tennis balls! Forget the treats, just throw any tennis ball her way 🎾

She can be a little nervous around other dogs and isn’t the biggest fan of loud noises, but she’s always happy to accept a cuddle from a human and the occasional treat from the team! 🐾💕

When it comes to her morning coffee trips with Mum and a good game of fetch, Halo knows exactly what she wants! 😇

✨ MEET THE TEAM — TANYA ✨

This week, we’re introducing you to Tanya who is one of our bar and waiting team members! 👋

Her favourite food is the rich and crispy Beef Croquettes.

Tanya’s favourite drink is East of Eden, one of our own Outland Beer brewed in Dorset, it’s a New England IPA with flavour notes that include mango, passionfruit and stone fruit.

3 things you might not know about Tanya:
🌍 She speaks 3 languages including Russian, English and French.
📸 She loves film photography - her Olympus OM film camera always an accessory!
🐶 She’s the proud mum of Misha & Bruno, two of our regular doggy guests 🐾

Say Hi to Coco! 🐶💕

Coco is a regular visitor to the pub and absolutely loves coming in to see her friends — especially her bestie Arya! 🥰🐾

When she’s not busy saying hello to everyone, you’ll usually find Coco doing what she loves best… CHASING TENNIS BALLS! 🎾😂

She could quite literally chase one all day long. Throw it? She’s there. Throw it again? Already waiting. Throw it one more time? Obviously! 🐶🎾

Coco is a very happy, playful girl who loves a good run around and plenty of attention 🐾❤️

👨‍🍳 MEET THE TEAM: ASH, OUR HEAD CHEF!

Meet Ash! 👋 He’s been working in professional kitchens for the last 15 years, so he’s definitely picked up a few tricks along the way!

When he’s not in our kitchen, you’ll probably find him at a mate’s BBQ, taking over the cooking and making his famous Beef Short Rib… whether it’s his BBQ or not! 😂

Favourite dish to cook: Flame Grilled Blackened Harissa Flat Iron Chicken
Favourite drink: Outland Hazy IPA 🍻

Basically, if there’s a BBQ, a kitchen or an excuse to cook something good, Ash probably isn’t far away!

A proper chef through and through.

🐾 DOG OF THE WEEK – FRANK 🐾

Meet Frank Norman! 🐶 Frank is our General Manager Sian’s Miniature Dachshund… although we’re pretty sure Frank thinks he’s the actual boss! 😂

Frank recently celebrated his 1st birthday and had a little pawty with his brother and sister! 🎂🐾

Frank loves coming to the pub to see his Mum while she’s at work. He’s usually busy getting cuddles, making friends with anyone who walks past and having a good nose around to see what’s going on. 👀😂

He’s also a big fan of Music Bingo with eventheque_mobile_discos 🎶 although we’re not sure if he actually likes the music or just likes all the attention! 😂

🍖 Favourite pub treat:
A sausage, obviously… he is a sausage dog after all! 🌭🐾

🍺 Favourite thing to do:
Get cuddles, follow Mum around and make sure everyone knows he’s there. 😂

Frank may be small, but he definitely has a BIG personality and loves making himself at home and letting everyone else know he’s there! Woof!! 🐶❤️

We thought it was about time we started giving our four-legged visitors a bit of the spotlight… and who better to start with than Stan! 🥰

Stan loves coming to the pub, saying hello to everyone and making plenty of new friends. He’s also partial to a nice big bowl of water and finding a bit of peace and quiet away from his brother Toby and sister Nala! 😂

Join Dad for a pint of Pilsner by Outland Beers while making friends with everyone around him.
