Dear All, we hope you are all keeping well and safe in these chaotic times. It is with deep regret; we announce we will no longer be hosting The Edge at Cropredy. Unfortunately COVID has hit us very hard financially along with the rest of the country and we have decided to bow out gracefully. We have had tons of fun meeting & chatting to all of you and have many good memories to take back with us. We wish you all the best in the future! Regards - The Edge Team.

Hi All!

Hope you are all keeping well and safe in these chaotic times!

We have tried to delay this announcement as much as possible in the hope we were able to host The Edge at Cropredy Festival this year, but unfortunately luck has not been on our side. With the lifting of the current restrictions being delayed by an additional month and Event Insurance companies limiting COVID cancellations, we are not in a position to take the risk to hold the Edge at Cropredy Festival this year. We will sadly have to write off our costs for this year.

We will take a fresh look where we are in the new year and hope at that time that we are out of the uncertain environment we are in.

Hi All,

What a year so far! We hope you are all well and safe along with your loved ones and friends. Unless this virus hits close to home, it is really hard to understand what it is all about and why we are where we are. Not being able to run The Edge this year is sensible in the grand scheme of things, there will be a next time. There are of course much bigger things to worry about so please do continue to keep safe and well.

Hard to imagine that if but for Covid-19, we would be serving you all pints of Cider and Ales from around the Country and in and around the local area. This time last year we were sound checking ready for the afternoon's entertainment, running around swapping casks and wondering if we had enough... we will certainly miss seeing everyone for our annual catch up. No gate rattling last Wednesday night as 6pm loomed... no sneaking onsite early to see if we will be ready Mr Marcus B... no booming laugh from Mr Trout etc. On the bright side.... less than a year to go until we can meet up at The Edge! (ducks)

We had looked at the ability to do a live Zoom or Facebook event for the day with the bands entertaining you all safe at home but needed a location that would work and of course, still closed. We may have to park that and perhaps do something closer to Christmas where you can still feel the Summer vibe while warming feet by the fire. If we can't pull it together then we just have more time to plan for next year!

Troubling times for us all no matter where we are. At this stage we do not know what August will look like but for now we hoping we will have gone through this and made it out the other side.
