Sunday 11:30 - 5:00 The Moss Inn is very much at the heart of the local village with its cosy atmosphere, great food and fine selection of draught products, real ales & wines along with over 50 bottles of varying gins & whiskeys! The Kitchen is only open for 3 days a week but that hasn't stopped us gaining a great reputation for our renow

n 'Sunday Roasts' & 'Thursday Steak Nights' along with our Friday 'Bar & Grill Menu'....don't take our word for it, have a look at our reviews on facebook. The pub also host other events such as Quizzes, Bingo, Theme Nights and Evenings with Local Musicians which we hope to become a more regular feature whilst raising money for local and national charities. So, come along, have a pint and enjoy yourself.

From Friday 15th May we will be operating on temporary bar-only opening hours while our kitchen team take a well-deserved break and we carry out some essential maintenance behind the scenes.

Thursday 21st May Grandpa’s Fish Bar will be here serving delicious fish & chips you can enjoy with a pint! 🍻

Our Kitchen will be back open on Wednesday 27th May from 12pm

We’re proud to serve only the best here at The Moss Inn!

All of our steaks are sourced from a trusted local abattoir - Thompson Wholesale Meats who source only top-quality livestock from local reputable farmers around the North East. The beef supplied aged is 30 months or less and dry aged for a minimum of 28 days to ensure greater flavour & texture. All steaks are then hand cut in house and cooked to your liking!

Other meat including Pork & Chicken is sourced
from our local family-run butchers and our fresh fruit and vegetables from our local greengrocers.

By keeping things local, we ensure fresher produce, better flavour, and top-quality cuts on every plate, it also helps support the people and businesses around us.
