If you haven't already come and found out why 100s make the pilgrimage to The Brown Horse Hotel to enjoy one of the best (if not the best) carveries in the north why not? Spoiler - it is because everything is homemade, cooked freshly on the day exactly the way the best cook in your family made their Sunday dinner.

We don't take bookings so best to turn up early as (though we are cooking more each week) we still seem to run out.

🍗🍖Brown Horse Sunday Carvery now with LOCALLY FARMED BEEF!
We were sold out within two and half hours last week so we will be cooking a little more this week but would still recommend coming early
Our traditional Sunday roast home made on the day with slow cooked meats, homemade Yorkshire puddings and gravy with rich meat juices and stock to bring out those deep flavours everyone remembers from their favourite family dinner.
If you haven't been why not find out why hundreds make the pilgrimage to Tow Law every Sunday, you won't be disappointed (unless you turn up late as we usually sell out)

Hi Guys,

Quick one from us, we have rented the business out to new tenants who will be managing the page from here on so this will be the last post from us.

All good things must come to an end, Benny and Julie are retiring and Arun is pursuing his career as a solicitor.

We are still the freeholders so we aren’t going too far, we will have a presence in the business over the coming weeks to help the new tenants settle in.

Rest assured expect the same quality we have brought for the last 18 years.

Thanks for all the support, it’s no doubt we’ll see you all out and about in the community!

😞😞Might be our last GF buffet ☹️😞
This is what we had to throw out after spending the whole day preparing for our buffet.
A large party booked but did not show up, so we had only 6 people.
Last week only 2 people came.
Personally I think it was one of our best I was so proud of my wife the chef it was amazing. So tasty.
But it is simply not going to be sustainable...
It so sad as the first buffet we did we had to squeeze 120 people into a 40 seater restaurant now we have 160 seats but only 6 customers. Please give us some feedback as the buffets are usually so well received when people try them...
how do we get the word out...
